This video was shown at grassroots, and was the first rough draft of repositioning the AIA. This was done to distill a message but the presentation preceding it was a blunt critique of the structure of the organization and how to restructure focusing on member value. It is over an hour, but worth a watch: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x22D0po1h5Y
I am being denied to take the A.R.E..
Yet I work with clients doing a variety of projects which is primarily residential.
I have over 6 years of experience.
I have passed a national test that determines my skill, knowledge and ability to teach architectural studies.
I routinely work under the direct supervision of architects for all aspects of architectural projects.
I have completed IDP as of February 2010.
Why am I being denied eligibility?
ps – I was recently told by a local Pittsburgh principal architect that at 55 I am too old to be considered for hire.
You might as well wipe your arse with the AIA Canons and Ethics Rules.
