The Education Committee directs the planning and development of AIA Pittsburgh’s continuing education programming, including but not limited to: Build Pittsburgh ‐ AIA Pittsburgh’s annual continuing education conference, Lunch & Learns, Procrastinator’s Day, and ad hoc trainings.
The group explores such questions as: What are the issues affecting the profession and firms in our region? How can we prepare for the ‘new and the next’? Who can we learn from? The committee also reviews member surveys to identify members’ educational needs.
The Education Committee meets most frequently in winter-spring to guide offerings at Build Pittsburgh, and then meets as needed throughout the year. If you are interested in joining the Education Committee, please contact Jessica Pfauth at jpfauth@aiapgh.org.
