Spring is just around the corner, and with it comes Build Pittsburgh. This year’s theme is “Bounce Forward: Design for Resiliency.” Programming for our annual continuing education conference will be announced this month as AIA Pittsburgh gears up for the big day on April 21st. Mark your calendars and we’ll see you at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center next month. March 11 – Beginner’s Guide to Using AIA Contract Documents and Software: This day-long seminar presented by AIA National will introduce you to AIA Contract Documents and Software, helping explain the importance of using comprehensive contract documents, and earn you up to 6.5 AIA/CES LU hours.

March 16 – YAF Steering Committee Meeting: Special guest and AIA Pittsburgh’s Executive Director, Anne Swager, Hon. AIA, will give a brief orientation on the ins & outs of AIA Pittsburgh and leadership in a nonprofit organization.
March 23 – 2016 Architects Action Day: Join AIA Pennsylvania and your colleagues across the state for Architects Action Day! Meet with your state legislators to discuss state policies impacting your profession.
March 27 – Proposal Deadline for PechaKucha Night Pittsburgh, Vol. 23: Do you have a story to tell? A project to show off? A love affair with photography? Submit a proposal to present your work at PKN Pgh Vol. 23!
