It’s July, it’s hot, and you’re counting down the days (or hours) until vacation. Things may feel slower, even sluggish, on these 90° days, but the AIA is still at it, putting your dues dollars to work! While the calendar may not look very full, AIA Pittsburgh is working full-throttle as Design Pittsburgh approaches. Have a project you’re particularly proud of? A great design you want to show off to other professionals? A contender for an Honor Award? Submit it to our annual Design Awards Competition! In the meantime, here is a breakdown of events and opportunities happening this month at the AIA.
AIA Pittsburgh’s Industry Resource Directory – The Industry Resource Directory has undergone a navigation and design makeover! Check out the new features and help us welcome the new and returning members from June. July 3 – Submission deadline for PechaKucha Night Pittsburgh Vol. 18.: Interested in presenting at PuchaKucha Night? Today is the last day to submit your proposal to AIA Pittsburgh for Vol. 18. Get your slides in today!
July 4 – AIA Pittsburgh will be closed in observance of Independence Day. The office will resume normal hours on Monday, July 7th.
July 8 – Intern Titling Survey closes: Be an active participant in this critical change for the profession; help Change the Word and Respect the Work of the rising generation in architecture. Go take the survey today.

July 22 – 2015 Convention Call for Reviewers Closes: Want to be involved in AIA Convention 2015? The Call for Reviewers is active online and looking for members who are looking for an opportunity to influence the quality of education at Convention.
