Each year, the AIA congratulates new and recent graduates of accredited architectural programs by offering complimentary Associate AIA membership. The AIA has expanded this incentive to include Non-NAAB graduates or those enrolled or participating in circumstances recognized by licensing authorities as constituting credit towards architectural licensure and working under a license architect. As graduation season is upon us, we encourage new grads to look into taking advantage of this offer and becoming part of a community of over 83,000 colleagues.
Associate membership benefits include Intern Development Program and Architect’s Registration Examination resources; AIA Continuing Education and IDP hours; events and networking opportunities; access to the 25 unique AIA Knowledge Communities; subscriptions to AIArchitect, the AIA bi-weekly e-newsletter and ARCHITECT, the print magazine of the AIA; and many other resources.
