Jeff Murray, FAIA, President, AIA Pittsburgh Board of Directors
I’m looking forward to getting to know more within the PGH architectural community. My goal this year is to help in some small ways to better prove to the rest of the building industry [and to a lesser extent the general public] the AIA architect’s value and contribution to the building making process. I hope we can focus on ‘Architects DIWO’; that is ‘Architects do it with others’ demonstrating our abilities to collaborate and partner with others to make great buildings and cities.

Ray Bowman, Assoc. AIA, Chair, Young Architects Forum
After 3 years as an officer, it’s great to take over the reigns of YAF for 2017. I’m excited to continue the mentorship initiatives that I’ve started, both PALM and Storey Telling. I’m also making it a goal to actively seek out and empower new and younger members to fill out our ranks so that the committee stays strong and vital to the AIA for years to come.
