Research Resource Center Online: There is now one location where members can go to for economic data and architectural research. The Research Resource Center can be found under the Practicing Architecture tab of AIA.org . This new portal has links to member grant and research opportunities, the Architectural Billing Index and Home Design Trends Survey reports, as well as professional practice research, and much more.
AIA 2013 Institute Honor Awards Call for Entries: The Institute Honor Awards celebrate the best in contemporary American architecture, recognizing achievements in a range of architectural activity. Learn more about this national honor and find out if your work is eligible.
June 13 – Free ADA Webinar Series Continues: This free webinar – the last in a three-part webinar series sponsored by the Universal Design member-created community on AIA KnowledgeNet – will address residential and commercial applications through a series of case studies. Excellence in Universal Design Case Studies, 1- 2 pm
June 14 – VA Hospital Oakland Building Tour: Join the MBA’s Young Constructors and AIA Pittsburgh’s Young Architects Forum on a tour of the VA Cares Consolidation Building in Oakland, with a happy hour to follow. Click here for more information.

June 21 – PechaKucha Night, Volume 12: Join the Pittsburgh Chapters of the AIA and AIGA for PechaKucha Night Pittsburgh, Volume 12 – an event for people to meet, network, and show their work in a presentation format based on a simple idea: 20 images x 20 seconds!
June 22 – YAF Pirates Tailgate: Join the Young Architects Forum for their first Pirate Tailgate of the year, taking place at the WTW Architects parking lot.
July 1 – Call for Presentations for Convention 2013: The 2013 National Convention Committee is seeking articulate, dynamic leaders to share their expertise in Denver next June. Have a topic you feel passionate about and want to share with the profession? Look into submitting a proposal to the Committee!
