ICC® Professional Chapter of Pennsylvania Presents: 2015 IBC Transition from the 2009 IBC

The UCC Review And Advisory Council has made their recommendations for adopting the 2015 I-Codes in Pennsylvania. L & I is then required to promulgate regulations based on this report which must be in effect by October 1, 2018.

This presentation will show you the changes to the IBC from the 2009 edition which is now enforced in Pennsylvania, to the 2012 IBC to the 2015 IBC.

Learning Objectives Upon completion of this course, participants will be better able to:

  1. Identify each changed section, compare each changed section with previous provisions.
  2. Apply requirements of the 2015 IBC.
  3. Identify minimum requirements for compliance with the new/revised sections.
  4. Determine appropriate application of the new/revised sections.
  5. Determine best approach to compliance.
  6. Apply requirements mandated by the new/revised sections.
