The design challenge for the Market Street Residences was transforming a 14,000 SF warehouse, built in 1847, into three luxury townhomes.  An expansion of the rooftop provides outdoor space with views of Pittsburgh’s Monongahela River.  The glass and aluminum details pay homage to the nearby PPG Tower, designed by Philip Johnson.  By highlighting the building’s existing features and designing unique rooftop terraces, the Market Street Residences now contribute to Pittsburgh’s thriving downtown.
