Emeritus Member

Emeritus Membership is available to any Architect or Associate Member who has been a member of the AIA for 15 successive years, is at least 70 years of age and has retired from the profession, or so incapacitated as to be unable to work in the profession, and whose membership is current (or lapsed for less than nine months).

Emeritus Members receive similar benefits as Architect and Associate  AIA Members, but will now have an Emeritus status, without the customary membership fees.
