In the interests of both networking and professional development, the YAF frequently organizes hard-hat tours of local projects, currently under construction. These tours are usually led by the architect and general contractor, and offer unique insights into the construction process for each project. Our recent tours have taken us to the Bakery Square development, the Consol Energy Center, the 3PNC tower, and the Des Places Dormitory at Duquense University. Many young architects feel they are not getting enough exposure to actual field conditions on a project site — if you are one of them, join us for our next tour!
